Lots of people for get about the social distance or "personal space" if you encroach on someones bubble it makes them very uncomfortable. Just make sure you stay out of the "Intimate Zone" anywhere from zero to a foot and a half.. I would agree with at least 3 feet as suggested in the article. How much cost cutting can you do? It eventually comes at the expense of patients. She was merely expressing that she missed being able to care for a smaller number of patients so she could bond and give them better care. Now nurses have a larger number of patients to care for, so it is less personal. So now she is a nursing/health educator..
