“I received some of the best education and support in achieving both my career and life goals”
Katelyn’s Story
Katelyn was a student at PCC and working in restaurants when she made the decision to become a medical assistant. She appreciated the small community of learners at Sumner College and the comprehensive overview of skills development acquired in a very short time.
She states “I received some of the best education and support in achieving both my career and life goals” from her experience at the college.
Katelyn’s extern placement resulted in a job offer. Eventually she would like to enroll in a Physician’s Assistant program and continue to increase her scope of practice in serving a diverse patient population.
