Have A Major Role In The Events That Shape Business, Law And Politics
What is a Court Reporter?
Court reporters have a major role in the accurate and timely reporting of current events that shape business, law and politics. Court reporters use a stenotype machine to create verbatim transcripts of legal proceedings, captioning, speeches, meetings and conversations. The role of a court reporter is not only important in judicial proceedings, but also in any occasion where the spoken word must be documented, filed and available as a written transcript. Court reporting is an ever-changing, challenging, and rewarding career.
