Thank you for your service to our country. Recognized as one of Oregon’s military-friendly nursing schools, Sumner College is honored to help you continue your education. Our Nursing programs are approved by the Oregon Department of Education for veterans’ education leading to a college degree or career-specific educational program. For complete program and application information please visit: The United States Department of Veteran Affairs.
Veterans benefits may include payment for courses, books, tutoring and housing allowance. In some circumstances, benefits may be transferred to a dependent. Additional information regarding educational benefits can be found at www.gibill.va.gov or by calling 1-888-442-4551.
If you are an Oregon resident, you may be eligible to receive veterans benefits in Oregon through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. For eligibility and application information please visit the Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs Educational Aid Program.
