Associate Degree in Nursing
Sumner College’s Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is the only program in Oregon and Washington that doesn’t require prerequisite coursework. These courses are embedded in our 24-month program, allowing our graduates to start working in nursing in less time. We also allow students who have completed college-level courses at other institutions to transfer up to 25% of their credits.
Practical Nursing Program
Approved by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) and accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), the Practical Nursing Program from Sumner College is a 50-week diploma program. Upon completion, graduates will be prepared to sit for the National Council Licensure examination (NCLEX-PN) for licensure as a practical nurse.
Medical Assisting Program
Medical Assistants play a vital role in the healthcare field by working collaboratively with a team in doctors’ offices, medical clinics, hospitals and specialty practices. Our Medical Assisting program provides students with the administrative and clinical skills necessary to deliver safe, quality care in ambulatory settings.
RN to BSN Program
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program (RN to BSN) is designed for registered nurses looking to advance their careers. Our 13-month Bachelors of Science in Nursing program will broaden your understanding of best practices in nursing, and prepare you for leadership positions in which increasing levels of education are expected.
