Jacklynn H.
LPN
Licensed Practical Nurse
Downtown Clinic in Oklahoma
Graduate, Practical Nursing Program
“I have been taking care of people since I can remember and I wanted to learn everything I could about nursing.”
Jacklynn’s Story
Jacklynn was taking classes at a local community college while working night shift as a Caregiver to take care of her 3 young children before enrolling at Sumner College. “I have taken care of people since as long as I can remember, and it is second nature to me. I wanted to learn everything I could about nursing and this was a great way to start.” Jacklynn chose Sumner College because of the friendly staff, and because she was able to transfer previous coursework.
Jacklynn feels completing her nursing education at Sumner was the best decision for her. “All of the Instructors were so wonderful and dedicated. The Program Director was always available to help with whatever I needed.”
Jacklynn is grateful for her experience here at Sumner College. “I now have a job at a small family practice clinic working for a Nurse Practitioner. I am the clinic’s Vaccine Coordinator as well as an Advice Nurse. I could not be happier with the education I received.” Jacklynn has decided to hold off on continuing her education. “I love being and LPN an will enjoy this part of my journey for now.”
