Judy’s Story

Before choosing Sumner College to pursue her nursing education, Judy had already been working as a CNA for a few years. After gaining experience in healthcare, she knew she wanted to become a nurse. “I love the aspect of helping someone in need, and the reward you get from that.”

She found out about Sumner College from a friend who had graduated from the nursing program. After talking with the staff at the school, she knew the program was a perfect fit for her.

Judy knows she made the right decision by choosing Sumner College. “I am grateful to Sumner College for allowing me to complete the practical nursing program. I had a wonderful experience throughout the program, and I enjoyed all the experience I gained during my time here.”

Judy plans to gain experience as an LPN before continuing her education. Her eventual goal is to earn a BSN.

Judy is employed as an Licensed Practical Nurse at Total Care Home Health.
