Sumner College strives to provide quality education and instruction to all students. We feel it is our responsibility to provide our graduates with the knowledge, skills, and ability needed to become competitive and successful in their chosen field. We are dedicated to promoting intellectual growth and development for all of our students in a safe and secure learning environment.
Sumner College is privately owned and has two campuses serving the Portland metro area both are located near the Portland Airport.

The nursing programs at Sumner College are institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education, and authorized by the Office of Degree Authorization (ODA). The college is approved by the Oregon State Board of Nursing and the National Court Reporters Association to ensure the highest standards for academic excellence. The Court Reporting Program is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).
